Processing outside your country
HAVE3TECH LTD operates MacroMan. Personal information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Our Privacy Policy describes the providers and purposes involved.
This page explains transfer terminology and how to ask about safeguards for your information. The applicable mechanism depends on the particular recipient, destination, and processing.
Transfer safeguards
International transfers must meet the requirements of applicable data protection law. Depending on the circumstances, a transfer may be covered by an adequacy arrangement or require other appropriate safeguards.
For details of the safeguards applicable to your personal information, contact help@macro-man.com. You can ask how to obtain information about those safeguards.
The status of Privacy Shield
On July 16, 2020, the Court of Justice of the European Union invalidated the adequacy decision for the EU–US Privacy Shield. It is no longer a valid mechanism for transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States.
This did not remove the historic obligations of its participants. See the Federal Trade Commission's Privacy Shield update.
Data Privacy Framework and UK Extension
The EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension are distinct arrangements for eligible US recipients. Reliance on the relevant arrangement requires the recipient's current certification to cover the transfer in question.
A provider's participation does not certify HAVE3TECH LTD or MacroMan. This page does not assert that every provider or every transfer is covered by the framework. The ICO's guidance on the UK Extension explains eligibility, certification, and its scope.
